First Funai Fellow

Tracy ManlyThrough the generous support of A. Charles "Chuck" Funai, Professor Tracy Manly has been named the first Funai Fellow in Accounting.

Manly is an associate professor of accounting in her sixth year at TU.

"This honor recognizes Tracy's achievements in scholarly research and teaching. It is prestigious for her and the University," said Karen Cravens, director of the School of Accounting and MIS.

Funai is vice president and chief financial officer for Cummins Southern Plains in Arlington, Texas. The company is one of the largest distributors of Cummins engines in the world.

Funai is a TU accounting alumnus and a member of the College of Business Administration Executive Advisory Board.

"I'm very honored to represent the College in this capacity," Manly said. "It's wonderful to be at an institution where alumni are so involved and want to give back to the university."
