The University of Tulsa Center for Executive and Professional Development is offering several courses for improving management skills.
Accounting and Finance for Non-Financial Managers: The No Snore Version - December 7-8
Your company managers need a better understanding of the financial picture, and they need to understand how their daily decisions impact the bottom line. Your business depends on it.
This course features:
- Paradigm Learning's Zodiak Financial Strategies Simulation Game, in which teams of four invest $4 million, attract investors and sign a bank loan. Then they deliver products, collect receivables, tackle business problems, invest in research and development, and field stockholders' questions.
- Day two connects the game to what's going on in the workplace, with real-world accounting and finance.
- TU's J. Michael McCrary and J. Markham Collins team up as certified facilitators for Zodiak.
