He served in the Army for 21 years and taught international relations at West Point for five years.

After retiring as a lieutenant colonel, Hennelly worked for Wal-Mart corporate headquarters in logistics.

But he's glad to be back in the classroom.

"It's nice to be able to share with students since I have a background that looks at strategy from a variety of perspectives," he said.

Hennelly holds a doctorate in strategic management from the University of Arkansas.

"We are fortunate to have Mike join the faculty because of his broad experience, both in teaching as well as in the corporate and public service environment," said Ralph W. Jackson, chair of the Management and Marketing Department.

He is the treasurer and president-elect of the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers' Association, an accreditation site visitor for the Joint Review Committee on athletic training educational programs, a test site administrator for the Board of Certification, and serves on the Board of Certification's Regulatory Conference Advisory Panel.

Before pursuing his doctorate, Jeff served as an intranet development manager for MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City. During his tenure at the bank, he focused on designing and implementing process improvements made possible through the use of MidFirst's intranet environment.

"Jeff has a lot of practical knowledge, technical expertise and strong research skills," said Karen Cravens, director of the School of Accounting and MIS.

Crawford's research interests include IT project management, group development within a technology-enabled environment, and the adoption and diffusion of IT innovations within the contemporary organization.
