The TU Business Law Society (BLS) is a student-run organization open to all students, faculty, and staff at TU. The BLS was founded Fall term 2000 to meet the demand of students interested in Business Law, as well as to promote the Business Law Specialization available to students in the College of Business.
Law is an essential part of doing business. We use business law every day in our professional as well as our personal lives - from contracts to employee relations to product warranties and liability - law affects us as businesses and as individuals. Gaining an understanding of and the ability to apply legal principles to business decisions will make you a valuable asset for prospective employers and, for those who are law school-bound, assist you as you prepare to run your law firm and represent future business
clients.
The BLS meets once a month during the academic year (typically on the last Monday of each month at noon). We feature dynamic speakers in various fields of law. During our first year we learned about topics such as the law school admissions process, how to successfully survive the Law School Admissions Test
(LSAT), and international business law. We also held a banquet to honor Genave King Rogers, the first woman to graduate from the College of Business, and the very generous contributor who made the

a reality.
Membership is $10 per semester or
$15 for one full academic year.
