The Graduate Business Student
Association (GBSA) is a student operated organization open to
all graduate business students attending the University of
Tulsa.
The GBSA was founded in the fall of 2002 in order to achieve the
following:
 |
Promote
interaction among graduate students in order to develop
friendships. |
 |
Develop
networking opportunities with companies and business professionals. |
 |
Serve
as a source for communicating information about on-campus
events (i.e. Career Services, Friends of Finance) as
well as off-campus events (i.e. conventions, seminars, and
other developments). |
 |
Mentor
new graduate students by familiarizing them with the College of
Business Administration, The University of Tulsa campus, and
the city of Tulsa. |
The GBSA accomplishes these goals
through working and social meetings, on campus speakers, and the
GBSA newsletter.
The GBSA meets once a month during
the academic year (typically the second Tuesday of each month
between 5-6 pm). Membership is open to all graduate business
students at TU. Dues are $10 per year and
can be paid to the treasurer.
