The student chapter of the American
Marketing Association (AMA) provides students
of all majors an opportunity to network and interact with professionals,
assistance in professional development through workshops, and
an opportunity for practical application
of business and marketing principles.
The group is affiliated with the national AMA organization (45,000
members worldwide) and works closely with the local Tulsa AMA
professional chapter.
Student AMA members receive a monthly
magazine, gain access to AMA's national job bank and resume posting
service, and are eligible to
compete for AMA scholarships. The student chapter meets monthly, and
offers free food, great speakers, and exciting trips! Annual dues
are $40 ($35 for national AMA membership and $5 for the student
