The TU Student Business Ethics
Consortium (formerly TUSBEC) is a student organization that
is open to all students at the University of Tulsa. It was
founded to:

Promote scholarship related to high standards of
personal ethics and integrity.
|
 |
Network with the business community and other institutions
interested in promoting ethical business practices.
|
 |
Provide a university-wide forum for discussion of important
ethics issues.
|
 |
Foster mentoring relationships between the business community
and TU students.
|
 |
Foster positive interaction with the Oklahoma Business Ethics
Consortium for the mutual interest of promoting positive
personal ethics and integrity in the workplace.

On March 4, 2006 TU
Student Business Ethics Consortium (TU-Ethics) and Students in Free
Enterprise (SIFE) hosted their second annual Business Ethics Case
Study Competition.

TU-Ethics Membership
Requirements
A core requirement of membership is the personal commitment of
each member to act in accordance with the ethical standards and
Student Code of Conduct of the University of Tulsa. As TU-Ethics’
primary purpose is to promote high standards of personal and
business ethics among students, any dishonesty or cheating on
academic endeavors is considered to be especially unacceptable
and grounds for expulsion from the organization.
In addition, to be considered an active TU-Ethics member, a
student must:

Attend 2 TU-Ethics sponsored
events during the academic year,
-
Assist with at least 2 TU-Ethics
sponsored events during the academic year,
-
Pay a membership fee within 14
days of signing this membership form. The membership fees are
either $5 for general membership or $10, which includes a TU-Ethics
t-shirt.
