The College of Business Administration accepts transfer credit from other universities subject to policies set forth in the College of Business Administration's Academic Polices and Procedures (available in the college's Office of Undergraduate Programs).

A business student must complete 124 hours of required course work.  He/she may take general or free electives on a pass-fail basis.  However, a maximum of 30 hours of "pass" grades, including proficiency examination credits and credit by examination, will be acceptable toward the degree. Usage of CLEP examination credits is restricted. Check with your academic advisor regarding the acceptance of CLEP credits towards a specific degree.

Students may take a maximum of 30 hours of course credits in one discipline that may be applied toward BSBA  or BSIBL degree requirements.  All BSBA students must complete 48 hours of credit from 3000- and 4000-level courses in order to qualify for graduation. Students enrolled in junior- and senior-level (3000-4000) business courses are expected to have junior standing and  to have completed the following components of the Tulsa Core Curriculum and Business Core with a grade of C or higher:

Acct 2113
Acct 2123
BL 2013
Bus 1013
Econ 2013
Econ 2023

Engl 1033
Math 1093
Math 1103

MIS 1123
QM 2013

A minimum overall grade point average of 2.0 must be maintained in the major for a student to be eligible to graduate.

Students who obtain less than a 2.0 overall grade point average will be placed on academic probation and may be limited to 12 credit hours of enrollment each semester.   In addition, the college adheres to university policies on dismissal.

Non-business students pursuing a Marketing minor, Arts Management major, or Organizational Studies major must have junior standing and complete the following prerequisites with a grade of C or higher before enrolling in Mktg 3003: Acct 2113, Econ 2023, and QM 2013.

Additional academic policies exist for each degree program and area of concentration, for which a detailed explanation is available in the College dean's office.
