The finance minor includes courses in financial management, investments, and financial institutions. Since a major component of virtually every business decision for both profit and not- for-profit firms is the financial implication of the decision, finance is a natural complement to business administration majors in accounting, economics, management, marketing, and management information systems. The finance minor is restricted to business majors.
The finance minor requires a minimum of 12 semester hours, as follows:
