In addition to traditional business programs, the
college offers programs in nursing, athletic training, and exercise and sports
science. These programs produce health professionals who are skilled in
clinical practices and well versed in the business issues that underlie their
fields.
In today's complex health care and sports
professions it takes more than passion and determination to succeed. TU
provides a rigorous academic base, the latest technology and training equipment
and the faculty mentoring and intensive clinical experiences necessary to ensure
graduates have the competitive advantage.
Chapman
Hall's skills lab, the ultra-modern equipment/training
rooms of the Donald W. Reynolds Center, the human performance space in the Mabee
Gymnasium, and the training facilities of Skelly Stadium provide hands-on access
to the latest equipment and technology in each area of study.
Accreditation has been earned by these program from
the respective accrediting bodies: Commission for the Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), National Strength and Conditioning
Association, National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 61
Broadway-33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006 (1-212-363-5555 EXT 153). Graduates’
performances on certification examinations are above national averages for all
three programs.
